Dr. Antônio Carlos Centelhas, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of ABC (São Pauo - Brazil) in 1976 and later became a professor at the same college.

Cultural former director of the Associação Paulista de Medicina de Santo André.

Have outstanding participation in various conferences, both in Brazil and abroad.

Dr. Centelhas, as is known in the medical and academic community also receives prominence for his work presented and published in countries of great importance in medicine, such as the United States of America, Switzerland, France and Japan.

Apprenticed at the Eye Hospital of the University of Dresden in Germany, in the area of cataract, glaucoma and laser correction surgery degree.

Got scholarship from CAPES, developing the related chemical mediators in physical
exertion and intraocular pressure during the period of four months at the University Hospital of Geneva, Switzerland work.

Was professor of ophthalmology at the University Gama Filho (Rio de Janeiro - Brazil), physician's Ministry of Health, working in Hospital Municipal Nise da Silveira Recovery Centre, and teacher of students in internship in public health from the University Gama Filho.

It is also a physician clinical staff of the Casa de Saúde São José (Rio de Janeiro - Brazil).
